The Amerex multi-function pre-engineered "Modular" Vehicle Fire Suppression System is designed to suppress a fire by discharging the extinguishing agent into the hazard area. The operator is alerted to the fire situation by an audible/visual alarm and depending on the system design, discharge is accomplished by either manual or automatic actuation.
Wire-braid protected hose or stainless steel pipe delivers the fire-fighting agent through strategically located nozzles covering the predetermined potential fire hazard areas.
The time proven application of the dry chemical extinguishing agent provides protection against hazards such as hydraulic fluid, bearing lubricants, electrical cable insulation, methanol, compressed or liquefied natural gas (CNG/LNG), petrol and diesel fuel fires, as well as solid combustible debris accumulated in normal service.
Our "connect and protect" modular system design assures a no fault ease of installation and virtually eliminates false alarms.
